Tohatsu’s 5hp outboard motor delivers outstanding fuel economy and reliability second to none. The Tohatsu 5hp model MFS5CL comes equipped with the 20 inch long shaft and is a great source of portable power for jon boats, skiffs, and inflatables, as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for larger fishing boats.
The Tohatsu 5hp outboard engine shares many 4hp features with the added benefit of a larger carburetor and propeller for increased performance. Fuel is delivered via a portable 3.1 gallon external fuel tank and fuel line (included).).
